Changing or upgrading your subscription in Lifeway involves a few straightforward steps, whether you want to switch plans, adjust ministry sizes, or change your billing frequency. This article provides instructions for various subscription scenarios.
Process for Changing Subscriptions
To make a change before your next renewal date, you can follow these steps.
Go to the Purchases and Subscriptions page in Ministry Grid.
Look for the option to Switch Subscription: Eligible subscriptions will have this option under the three dot menu.
Select the New Plan: Follow the guided process to select your new options and confirm.
Common changes include, but not limited to:
age group (ex. change from Kids to Preschool + Kids)
change billing frequency (monthly or annual)
Below are specific examples for common scenarios that might require a switch:
Switching Plans or Bundles
Example: Transitioning from Kids Only to Preschool + Kids
If you are currently subscribed to the Kids-only plan but wish to switch to a Preschool + Kids (200+) plan:
You can make all of these selections during the switch process.
Example: Changing Subscription to Include Midweek Lessons
To switch to the Kids & Preschool Plus plan with Midweek lessons:
Upgrade to the "plus" package during the switch process.
Upgrading or Adjusting Ministry Size Tiers
If your subscription tier does not align with your ministry's size:
Select the updated ministry size within the switch process.
Changing Billing Frequency
If you want to switch from a monthly to an annual subscription:
Toggle between Annual or Monthly to see the differences during the switch process
Alternatively, for certain bundles like the Preschool/Kids Bundle, you can:
Log in to "Ministry Grid."
Go to the "Purchases and Subscriptions" section.
Select the "Switch to Annual" option.
Removing Components from Subscription Bundles
If you wish to modify a subscription bundle by removing a specific component (e.g., removing Preschool from a Kids + Preschool plan):
Make updated selections during the switch process.

Set Subscription Not to Renew: If you’re planning changes, ensure your current subscription does not auto-renew, especially when upgrading or downgrading plans.
